Our research method

Every guide on this site is built the same way:

  1. Labels first. Product facts come from published labels and brand materials — never from memory, never invented. Every claim carries a source comment in the page code.
  2. Studies cited, not vibes. Research claims link to the actual paper or reference (PubMed, NIH, professional guidelines). Where evidence is thin, we say so — including when it's thin for the product we feature.
  3. No invented anything. No fabricated reviews, no fake testimonials, no stock-photo doctors, no made-up trial results. Quotes come from the expert's own publications, in sections about the science — never as product endorsements.
  4. Commissions disclosed. Featured products earn us a commission; it's disclosed above the fold on every page and in full on our affiliate disclosure page.

On AI authorship

These pages are written with AI tools from product labels and the cited sources, then assembled through the method above. AI makes the drafting fast; the sourcing rules are what make it trustworthy. Anything a human hasn't verified is labeled as the brand's claim or the study's finding — never as our own testing.

What we don't do

We don't give medical advice (Talk to your doctor before starting any supplement — especially with heart, blood pressure, blood sugar, or mood medications, or if you are pregnant or nursing.). We don't test products in a lab. We don't rank by commission. And we don't publish a claim we can't trace to a label or a citation.

Bottom line

The standard we hold

If a claim on this site can't be traced to a label or a cited source, it shouldn't be here — tell us if you find one.

How we research: questions

Who checks the AI's work?

The sourcing rules are enforced in code: every product claim needs a label source comment, every research claim needs a citation, and a page can't publish without them.

Do you take money for rankings?

No. Featured products earn commissions (disclosed), but rankings and comparisons are built from label data and evidence — the same method whether we earn or not.

Can I trust a site that discloses AI authorship?

That's exactly why we disclose it. The trust comes from traceability — every claim checkable — not from pretending a human lab-tested everything.
